During the Latte Art Junior workshop, young people are introduced to coffee and latte art in a fun and accessible way. In this creative workshop, participants learn how to froth milk, pour it, and create simple latte art designs, such as a heart. The focus is entirely on fun, creativity, and self-discovery.
The workshop is designed specifically for children ages 9 through 15 and is conducted in small groups of up to four participants. With two instructors guiding the session, everyone receives plenty of individual attention, and each child can practice at his or her own pace. We use decaf coffee to ensure the workshop remains safe and appropriate for young participants.
Parents are welcome to watch the workshop. Afterward, participants will go home with new skills, greater self-confidence, and, of course, plenty of enthusiasm to continue practicing coffee and latte art at home.
Laurens DaCosta is an award-winning barista and SCA trainer with over sixteen years of experience. With his practical and inspiring approach, he helps both professionals and coffee enthusiasts take their coffee quality to the next level.
